Playstation Hdmi Doesnt Work

Playstation Hdmi Doesnt Work. Safe mode isn't coming up but my tv does recognize its connected to a playstation. I plugged in my Red white and yellow cables and it worked but when i try to change the display settings to hdmi it doesn't work.
